A year has passed, and it’s now time for budgets and planning. GMA napoli activities have continued as usual, never stopping. The year 2021 has ended with our balance sheet figures on the plus side, and way above our expectations. THANKS to all of you.

*In 2021 GMA Napoli has provided support to schools, foster homes, women promotion centers, and families in need in Ethiopia.
Works completed:
|
· “Bruh Alem” foster home for girls (in memory of Bianca d’Aponte) in Hosanna.
· 5000 plants set in soil, Project “Abono Gabriel”
· New school complex “School 01” at Shashamane

Child Sponsorship
For needy students, with financial coverage for their educational fees and materials, health care and family assistance.
Due to Covid, this year we distributed food to the families of our needy children. We also organized remedial courses for 150 students although final grades were far from adequate, largely as a result of the lack of distance learning during the lengthy periods of Covid-related forced absences.

Taking a closer look at the diagram, it’s worrying for us to see the percentage of 2021 Child Sponsorships fees not paid (15%). We kindly invite all of our readers to comprehend the importance of Child Sponsorship which saves a life with 0.80€ (only 80 cents) per day and allows a child to grow-up in a dignified manner.
Promotion of women and families
Our support of WPC has continued in the female prisons of Shashamane and in the St Joseph Center of Addis Abeba. In prison our women have asked to be permitted to grow and sell food: a project greeted with enthusiasm by GMA. And we continue to provide training and distribution of food for approximately 100 women and their children.
For the project “Family Sustainability”, 8 heads of households have received microcredits for family self-sustainment.
