SOLIDARITY SOCCER MATCH

Today we are star witnesses of the solidarity soccer match in honor of Father Silvio, who has a long-lasting passion for soccer.

One of the ways in which Father Silvio managed to remove children from the streets was through sports. “Shelter, Health and Education” – where sports have an important role to play.

Father Silvio put together a sports club: teams of children and teenagers would develop into young soccer players. “Chasing down the ball even in the name of an ideal”.

We get to sit in the distinguished visitors’ gallery: four wooden seats all in the same row. Wonderful! Behind us in the bleachers are the home team fans.

It’s a victory for our team… and Father Silvio is with us.
